The Geospatial Information Response Team (GIRT) ensures that timely disaster event geospatial data are available for use by emergency responders, land and resource managers, and for scientific analysis. In an emergency and response capacity, the GIRT is responsible for facilitating the coordination, communication, and dissemination of geospatial data and information through the GIRT Event Support

An online application that allows users to search and visualize Light Detection and Ranging (lidar) and its derived products. Users can find lidar, DEM, topobathymetric, and orthorectified radar image (ORI) data. The application uses Entwine Point Tile (EPT) format to help visualize projects in a web-based 3D viewer for quick views of the data. It also allows for cloud processing

The USGS Groundwater Climate Response Network (CRN) is a system of wells and springs selected to monitor the effects of climate variability on groundwater systems nationwide.

The North Pacific Pelagic Seabird Database (NPPSD) is maintained by the USGS ASC and includes survey transect data designed and conducted by numerous partners primarily to census seabirds at sea. The data relates to observations of marine birds and mammals observed during at-sea surveys throughout the North Pacific including the Arctic Ocean, Beaufort Sea, Chukchi Sea, Bering Sea.

The Carson River Basin Hydro Mapper web application provides a modern and easy-to-use interface with the USGS National Water Information System (NWIS).

This dashboard application displays nitrogen concentrations and loads in selected Long Island Sound tributaries. 

The Pennsylvania Drought Condition Web Tool shows the current drought status for each county and hydrologic conditions for precipitation, streamflow, groundwater levels, and Palmer Drought Index used by PADEP for drought monitoring.

TRAILS – Trail Routing, Analysis, and Information Linkage System is a trail planning and collaboration tool that utilizes geospatial analysis to determine potential routes for new trail connections or to reroute an existing trail.

How wet was 2023 when compared to historical averages? This geonarrative compares precipitation and streamflow amounts observed during the 2023 water year with historical conditions in the Colorado River Basin over the last 30 years. While the 2023 water year was a wet year with above-average precipitation at many locations, it was not uniformly good or record-setting. 

To help resource managers plan and mitigate long-term drought impacts in the Colorado River Basin, the USGS has launched a platform that brings together science, data, and mapping and analytical tools from across the basin in a central location.

The Three Lakes System of Colorado includes Grand Lake, Shadow Mountain Reservoir, and Granby Reservoir. This system is located within the headwaters of the Upper Colorado River Basin near the west entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. This geonarrative focuses primarily on the drainage basin of the Three Lakes System and the Colorado River downstream to Windy Gap Reservoir.
